My First Road Bike for Commuting.
After almost non stop 6 months of search/Quest I think I have finally found My First Road Bike for Commuting.
http://www.evanscycles.com/products/pinnacle/arkose-4-2016-adventure-road-bike-ec122276

It seems to tick all the box (Commuting friendly, Very good brakes, Value for money, Good group set, Bike shed friendly compared to carbon bikes, Cycle scheme, Price range I was after in and around £1000 ) other than aesthetics/Brand name
Its seems to give loads of bank for the bucks .
The only thing that is stopping me to buy this immediately is Its not in sale currently. 10% or 15 % sale would do the trick for me. Do you guys think its wise to wait for few more weeks/months for it to be on sale? I have board man Hybrid currently for commuting....

Or Should I go to 2015 model which is on sale currently . (BB30 puts me off on this one and I don't like the color...)

It's a very good choice.
My current day to day commuter is a Pinnacle Pyrolite. Which is basically the same bike as you linked to, except it's a 2014
They are very well made, bombproof bikes, surprisingly nimble (the bike is less then 10Kgs) and they can take a good amount of abuse. They can also take a full rack and panniers and a full set of mudguards. Perfect for a commute. It has also been used as a tourer, taking me from Switzerland to home through France.

re the 2015 model
The Bottom Bracket is not BB3., It's an FSA BB-400 which is external threaded bearings.
I much prefer the colour. :okay: And I am off the opinion you should never buy a bike if you don't like it's colour.

You have obviously set your heart on the bike so if I was in your shoes, I would just buy it. You certainly won't regret it. You can wait a few months, but I know that these bikes sell well and quickly. You will be taking a risk that it may not be available in your size when they do cut the price.

My Pyrolite is now coming up to 2 years old and I have only just had to change the bottom bracket and chainset (both FSA), which ain't bad for 13,500 miles undertaken in all weathers.
