I know a lot more people whose expensive bikes last about a year before they flog them in order to get something even more expensive because Bob who they play golf with bought a titanium bike, or because their current carbon bike doesn't match the colour of their new Range Rover Evoque Sport.

Most cyclists I know arent that materialistic luckily , likewise cycling golfers are as rare as rocking horse poo down my way. However I guess new models come out every year for a reason.

You're lucky. These numb nuts are everywhere round here. You are right though, a fool and their money are easily parted.

2014 Giant Defy is also a good bet.
