My first set of SPDs

Woo finally got a set of SPDs to go with my clippy pedals - there is a definate notice in increase of speed/accel - unfortunately it took me a couple pints to get up the courage to use the things...

will definately be commuting to college everyday with them, even if I get giggled at for clicking down the hallways...

(P.S. I wasn't on open roads whilts U.T.I. - I've seen the vids and heard the stories before you all flame away...)

As I feel like a proper cyclist now, I may even start wearing a helmet....

I've just ordered some double sided pedals in the hope I'll avoid situations like this.

But I bet I have a situation just like this but only at the Elephant and Castle or another in hospitable traffic island.
