Only been back in the saddle for a couple of weeks, due to cycle2work scheme. Last week managed to do 36.4 miles.
And yesterday the inevitable happened, I clipped the kerb going downhill and went over the handlebars. Next thing I know I'm flat on my back in the road with cars riding past me.
It shook me up a bit but was ok apart from bruises and hurt pride. But glad to say I went out again today and did another ride.
It's shaken my confidence abit but hope I will regain it with everyday routines of back and forth to work.

. A man who was parking up in front of his house see the whole thing and came to see if I was ok, luckily he didn't believe me and took myself and bike to his house and his wife tended to my wounds (stitches eventually required in knee). He then drove me home in his Mercedes (there was me worried about bleeding on his seats) and said I could pick my bike up anytime. (Thank you Daniel and Gayle) Anyway....sorry for ramble.
