I do sound stuff for things for a living, mostly video games, but my first bit of work for a TV series will be hitting the airwaves tomorrow night and I'm pretty excited - it's for the BBC and everything!

The programme is 'World's Craziest Fools' and is a fairly daft clip show presented by Mr. T on BBC3 Monday nights at 10:30pm. Not exactly David Attenborough BBC1 quality stuff but I still feel proud of what I've done

Listen out for the sound effects. I did them!

Here's a clip featuring some animation a friend of mine did, which also kinda proves the whole '...who you know' adage. Personally, I think it's pretty funny.

Animation was by some chaps in London I'm afraid.

Wah my sounds were generally quite low in the mix.

I just did a sound effect.

No but well done Jezzer. Sorry to have missed it but being Beeb 3 I think it's likely they'll broadcast it on an another occasion. Or twenty.

Thats pretty cool!

I love sounds and studio gear. I have s*** loads of studio gear (valve preamps, sherman filterbank 2, mics, amps + amp syms, analogue synths, about 40 guitar pedals, samplers you name it). Used to spend hours programming and experimenting to generate noises and sounds.

What kit do you use Jezston? Or are you fully software based?

...but it's all done by computers now innit.

I was reading an interview with Dave Grohl the other day, I don't really know there stuff, but he was talking about their latest LP and how it had been recorded in his garage using just analogue equipment, I realise that's quite fashionable but he wouldn't even let the producer use a computer for the editing, it was all done with scissors and sellotape, or something. He said "If I see one computer in this studio, you're F*CKING FIRED! It's my house, you know". He seemed like quite a nice guy.

Anyway, well done Jezston!
