Noticed a bike outside of my local Co-Op today, it was a powder/sky blue Henry Burton and it was beautiful. I waited for its owner to come out of the shop just to say "nice bike, mate", he said "thank you".

Yup, they are still going. I work in stafford and see lots of Henry Burtons knocking about.

At heart im a Specialized fan and loitor around Birmingham and Staffords concept stores, but i do enjoy a mooch around Henrys shop.

I used to work there (on and off) between 1979 and 1984. They weren't building when I was there, He would use Charley Bettley for a few custom builds, or buy in bare frames and badge them - which he's still doing. I've sent my aravis audax that I bought from him about 10 yrs ago back down to be resprayed
