I've voted for Ireland, as it's the only one of the three I've cycled. I cycled Mizen Head to Malin Head several years ago. Ireland's odd in that all the hilly bits are at the edges. County Galway was the prettiest part by a long way. I should have spent much longer cycling around there. The traffic was surprisingly bad along parts, especially the western edge which is supposed to be the nicest bit.

the best bit of Bavaria is near the Austrian border (Karwendel & Wetterstein mountains) ;). From near Mittenwald you can cycle across the border and get into the most amazing mountain scenery, on-and off-road! I might post some photos later if I can dig them out...

Why only 3-4 days in Bavaria?

I voted for Ireland although if you're heading to the Republic you'll need deep pockets. That said you could restrain yourself to Northern Ireland, there's plenty there to see.. go all round the Antrim Glens and coast road, within easy reach of Belfast and superb scenery.. or South from Belfast into Mourne country. Go W towards Armagh, through Monaghan and into the Lakelands of Fermanagh, or NW towards Derry. The Guinness is just as good, the Ulster fry will set your arteries in good stead, and if you fancy Whiskey then Bushmills is well worth a visit. If you head to the Republic as noted earlier, the coast roads can get busy at peak times, especially with tour buses on narrow roads around Ring of Kerry, cliffs of Moher/Burren, and some parts of Connemara (W Galway).. Less traffic up towards NW of the country, Sligo/Leitrim/Donegal, with every bit as beautiful scenery.

One vote each, and a bit like the dice man, I will do as you bid. Obviously the choices are what I would like to do, but I can only do one.

Quite a go that Comedy - have a nice 1 whatever you get upto...
