My cousin offered me a cheap deal on her Transit camper. Should be warmer/securer, but also a lot unroomier! ^_^

I'm still chasing the job. It's gone a bit quiet, as these things are wont to do.

go ex pat. as long as your not caught being in the country for more than 90 days you'll not pay tax. also you can declare minimum earnings and claim max child and working tax credits. contractors do it all the time. i can't remember the exact details but an experienced accountant will know.

where are you working at LHR (what do you do there) i work in T4 (IT projects) there may be some more work in LHR with T2A

I work in aero maintenance; specifically a boil on its bum called 'inflight entertainment maintenance.' I have loads of mainstream (engine/airframe) maintenance experience but I've been doing IFE for 8 years, which apparently to an employer is like having 8 years experience of being on the sex offender's register.

I'd be interested to know more about that!

Thx
i can't remember exactly how it worked now, it was quite a while ago (+10 years iirc) that i did it, it's all above board and legal. last management course i was on a few years back some oil platform lads were on the course and they were still doing it then.

Paris ? CDG or Orly ?
if the former, lot of nice countryside to the north & west of there that imagine cycling in would be fine. South of CDG you are getting closer to Paris and so drivers prolly less patient.
