500 mile update (yes, not many I know . . . but tours will resume in the spring as soon as I get some breathing space from work): very comfortable, saddle breaking in nicely (needed a few adjustments though since) . Wheels look pretty dirty now, despite cleaning, but the drivetrain and the rest of the bike are still sparkly clean (thanks to the 150 mile-ish drivetrain clean I give it as my commute is only 7 miles).
SPDs rather than toeclips now . . . getting used to them still, but they do seem to work better. New front light is required now the commutes are in darkness, but otherwise all is well with the LHT.
Colleagues don't like the colour (I park it at my desk in the office as we don't have a cycle shed . . . no argument from management because of the latter and suits me as the bike drys out if it's been raining) but hopefully that'll discourage them from pinching it.
