My new road bike

Hi, to all the people that gave me advice on buying my first road bike, thank you.
After much deliberation I decided to go for the cube agree, this is last years model so i got it at a great price. Had my first ride on it this afternoon, 45 miles went by in a flash. I would post my strava times to show you just how fast but I don't know how to upload it.

I hit a top speed of 47 mph and my average was 16, annoyed??

Cheers all, couldn't quite believe the difference between this and my boardman comp hybrid, staggering how much easier and quicker it was to ride, the gears took a bit of getting used to though, first time I've used them. Can't wait to get back out, I'm working till Sunday though

JE James in Chesterfield, not sure where the other shops are, go and buy one, Matt they have £450 knocked off as they are last years model and they have good wheels and better spec gears and brakes than the 2014 model

Compact, don't know why they advertise it with the triple.

Very, very tempting....having read up a little is yours the pro version? I'm trying to decide whether it's worthy of spending the extra, or would be a waste as I'm upgrading from a carrera tdf......potentially!

Try Ribble cycles online store - they have good prices on Elite Custom Race bottle cages.

Plastic but very light & attractive too with a myriad of different colour schemes.

I wouldn't bother with carbon cages - they save next to no weight & the Custom Race is good enough for many Pro Tour Teams too.

Matt, I didn't get the pro version, I got the 2013 gtc compact race version. If I were you I would get the 2013 one, it's lighter and has better kit on it, oh yes and it's cheaper!!
