My new shoes... Cool or Tool ?

Nice to see the majority of you lovely people, see this major issue the same way as me.
I shall be nipping out in my bargain disco slippers in less than a hour to dazzle the good people of the North Downs.

I like white trainers and white cycling shoes so yes they look good! Maybe spray them with some of that stuff they try and flog you when you buy trainers,the "universal protector"one. It'll help keep them white for longer!

You reckon that spray is good for cycling shoes as well Accy ?

Mmm,i'm looking at the can and it says suitable for leather suede nubuck and fabric so maybe those shoes wouldn't absorb the stuff? I'd stick to just wiping them down with a slightly soapy (Fairy Liquid or similar)dishcloth after each ride,that should help to keep them nice and white.

Wore them in anger for the first time today.
Cooked them in the oven yesterday, 20 mins at 150degs (don't tell the missus). then went out for a quick blast to mold them to my feet.
Fantastically comfy and a great fit. 113 miles today with no problems. Highly recommended.

I must admit that I ve always fancied a pair of white shoes though my LBS has never had a pair Ive liked,so reluctantly the pair of Bont I fancy will be online.Wear what you like I say,its your choice,your money and no-one elses business.Mind you, I almost bought a gold pair until I regained my senses,SWMBO shared her views too,so no gold shoes.

Was looking for the poll lol.

After moving from a predominately white bike to an all black one I'm glad I bought black shoes. Plus I'm nowhere near a good enough rider for anything flash

I'm loving the retro lace ups at the mo.Giro do some beautiful tie ups.
