Thanks, I like them too, although they may end up coming off when I can get the adapter for the BB. They weigh a ton but then again its is a steel bike

Thanks, it may be a little longer then I thought to finish her, need to get a new wheel set and funds are slowing me down

how did you paint? spray can? did you then varnish or something over this? you did a very good job, looks almost like powder coating!

The problem with the kits is you still need to have a free wheel of some type, what was on the bike is not a cassette but a 5 speed free wheel. So without a complete rebuilding of the hub(to space it right) I don't think it will work. The old steel wheels have seen better days thats for sure. I can get a flip flop wheel that will work its just coming up with the money to throw at it right now. And yes I did use spray cans, automotive primer first, then with about 3 coats color and 2 coats of clear coat after.
