Stay Alight is a good atmospheric Angry Birds type game
If you want to play against your Cycle Chat chums What about "Words with Friends" challenge?
Quiz Up is good too, play against friends or random opponents

I like playing stuff like Angry Birds (you can get free versions), Township and if you like puzzle games, Disneys Free Fall...starts easy but gets difficult! It's free but has in-game purchases but I don't bother with those.
Scrabble is good and there's quite a few other word games. I also love Mahjong.
Angry Birds sends your entire contacts list off when first downloaded and played.

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
Frozen bubble and tux rider are the only free games to hold me for any length of time.

A podcast app is a good thing and so is a feed reader. I like car cast and sparse RSS but they're all personal taste, really.

How about a browser game? I play 'Empire Universe 2', It's a complicated space game where you build planets, invade other players, and empires, We sometimes have huge space battles (but only in text form). it's not a quick game though, it can take over a month to research some stuff. and you need to research things in order to gain weapons..ships etc.. It's also free . They brought out EU3, but imo it's not all that, and players seem to be returning now to EU2.
you must have started on the Tramadol - enjoy ^_^
Not quite, still on. Paracetamol, codeine, gabapentin and diazapam... OK if I stay lying on my back and don't try too much movement!
Wonder if there's a Day of the Triffids app?
 which hurts at the moment, due some more needs in the next hour!

@SatNavSaysStraightOn , how are your programming skills? I heard rumours we need a replacement for MyCyclingLog, preferably hosted on the CC site .
Not so sure on programming. I can use other people's code, understand it and modify it, but not outright write it from scratch sadly... mind you that could currently be a good thing
