Sorry if its a dumb question but I'm a middle aged newbie :biggrin:

Is the plastic cassette wheel guard intended to be removed?

Just removed my wheel reflectors, whilst it's still in the garden I'll remove the gaurd if thats the case

Providing your gear changer stop down scew is adjusted so there's no override on the rear cassette? You wont need that bit of plastic! I always remove them; and you'll find that most top end race bikes come without any of those unsightly plastic bits.

As the post above,break it off or remove cassette?

Just ordered the Spesh Allez Sport 27 and cant see one on that so that s one job less :biggrin:
