Looks good Renard. Let's us know how it handles after the test ride.

Nice to see some vinyl getting played... what is it?

I was going to buy one of these but didn't know anybody else that had. I couldn't find any reviews from an actual user.

Keep us informed of its use and quality

Didn't chance it last week. A bit too cold for cyclocamping.

With a bit of luck it should start improving next month so you can give it a run out.

It's nice and sunny during the daytime but absolutely freezing at night. You'll enjoy it more now the clocks have moved an hour. It'll be light until nearly eight now

Lovely pics. I feel the old wanderlust coming on...

I have a very similar trailer to yours. As you say, it works very well; the only trouble I had with it was when trying to manoeuvre the bike with trailer attached when on foot.Reversing confused my brain. Also when trying to find a parking place in town ! I toyed with the idea of having a "Long Vehicle" sign on the back.

Don't be tempted to do what I did either... I filled the trailer, then added two front panniers and had stuff on the rear rack as well.
Rode like that from North Wales to Brum in one go and almost killed meself ! There is always the temptation to fill the available space.

Looks a fantastic little tour you had there. I wanted to tour the Outer Hebs this summer, but my son wants to do Paris-Lyon (after Calais-Paris last year.)

Are you sold completely on trailers, or would you use rear panniers again?

Do I need to get the spray plaster out?
I don't have a trailer to put just things in but I do have both the double & single Skiiddii child trailer and I can say they are excellant quality, my Dad (Should know better at 70) rolled the double complete with Grand Daughter & the roll cagey type construction worked perfectly as did the straps. In the trailers defence for the rolling he should have know better than to take it up the un-even kerb in the boatyard at speed (20 mph) on an electric bike. He promised not to do it again despite said child shouting "again again Papa - Yeeha! Faster Faster"

Skiiddii are cheaper than lots of makes out there but I have found them to be marvellous and equal to the really expensive ones.

The Skiddii is a great little budget trailer. Far better that the Avenir 2-wheeler that some "scrapmen" nicked, although the Avenir had a larger capacity for bulky things

Update - took it to Coll & Tiree last week and worked well again although a tight turn trying to negotiate a gate managed to unhitch at one side and bent the quickrelease and one side of the dropouts on the trailer. I have some doubts about long term durability but is still seems to be working fine.
