My nose, my beautiful nose!

I have the sunburn on my nose. It's not pretty. And this is in spite of putting on FACTOR 50 sun cream. And it's one of those that claim to act immediately. THANKS A LOT Nivea, I don't think.

Anybody solved this? Other than 'Stay indoors' obviously.

What about that white smeary stuff cricketers use for long days in the sun? For some reason zinc oxide seems to ring a bell.

I was thinking more of aluminium foil, but sticking it in place with superglue doesn't seem practical.

Aloe vera will help but that zinc stuff that cricketers use would stop future burning. Then again, you might look a little strange with a white nose.

I get out of Birmingham plenty. Even went to India earlier this year, and it was as hot there then as it is here now, i.e. higher 20s, occasionally lower 30s. Just never needed it.

I wish that I've never been sunburnt. It's only happened it in the unlikeliest of places though.....
