Been looking after Mum this week (mid 80s, now diagnosed with dual dementia), view from her back garden first thing, of the Cumbrian sky. About to head back to West Zummerzet, should be home in about 9 hours if trains on time!

A new visitor to my (town centre) garden, a female sparrowhawk, who thought nothing of grabbing a pigeon, and then slowly munching it, over a couple of hours.
Completely unconcerned, that I went out and snapped a few photos of her, from about 6 feet away.
Problem is, it will become a regular occurence, and the novelty soon wears off.
