A hot air balloon out this morning

From the forecast, I think it's going to be a trumpet day, rather than a bike one.

Walking back past the statue of the Ancient Mariner (from the Rime of the Ancient Mariner, by Samuel Taylor Coleridge) at Watchet Harbour, after paying my respects at the War Memorial at the other end of the Harbour front.

Looks like a Seagull was paying the Mariner back for the Albatross.

My girl has been on anti inflammatory’s and light walks / rest for 3 weeks: for some slight unknown lameness. This Morning we managed a fuss-free 25 minute / 1.2 mile walk in her favourite spot. It was great to be out together again……

This mornings walk, took me over the Highland Boundary Fault.

Even to my uneducated eye, you can clearly see the different soil either side of it.

I was just minding my own business cycling home from the library when before my very eyes, after a bit of circling around, this plopped out of the sky. An Airbus Helicopters H135 of the Northwest Air Ambulance service. Not something you see every day! I've posted it in the plane enthusiasts' thread and elsewhere, as it was such an unusual occurrence.
