Is it a cycle route for the full distance now ?

Yes. Been on my to-do list for a while. Nice route, well executed. Not the most scenic Greenway in the country, but the landscape around here is a bit bland and flat.

It joins into the Royal Canal Greenway which is 130km in it's entirety, so plenty of car free cycling available around Mullingar.

Was bit chilly today but still enjoyed the ride😀

I spent a whole day cycling along a canal, and this is the only boat I actually saw in motion!
