Yes. Been on my to-do list for a while. Nice route, well executed. Not the most scenic Greenway in the country, but the landscape around here is a bit bland and flat.
It joins into the Royal Canal Greenway which is 130km in it's entirety, so plenty of car free cycling available around Mullingar.
I should visit Mullingar since I've the same name as the famous singer from there.

The Westmeath bachelor!
It did skirt it once when I cycled the Royal Canal before, but this was my first time to visit the town. It's true there are more scenic places in the country, but I liked it. The possibility of long all-day rides with little or no car interaction is a major plus point and it's a nice town, nice architecture, a few nice pubs and the natives seem to be friendly.
Always planning trips, they dont often happen.
But I'm having a look at Dublin and along the canal greenway and back.
But getting me + bike to Dublin from Glasgow is a pain.
Done Belfast to Leitrim last May.
Brilliant trip but the logistics aren't great
I've planned many things too that I've never done.
Larne to Dublin ought to be possible by train, with a change at Belfast Central, although it's a quite a long journey when you factor in your trip from Glasgow to Stranraer as well as two hours on the ferry.
