Different angle today, but the conceit is the same. That's 2016m of limestone mountain keeping a benevolent eye on all of us in the village. As landmarks go, it'll do. And one day, my ashes will be in them thar mountains. But not yet a while... I've got stuff I want to do!
It's rather lovely to tend to my French garden for the first time since last September and to find that the greengage tree is fruiting well, despite the drought.
Super hot. And super dry here in Lowestoft, Suffolk. We had a drop or two of rain last night. I believe upto that we’d had 0.2mm this Month. No wonder poor Dunwich just up the road was / is such a tinder box….🥲
