Blimey, that graph really puts in perspective how its shot up since I was born. And makes me feel old.

(What do they mean by since history began? The graph shows 1500, but that's very late! There is no date on which history began, it depends where you are.)

Aparently there's plenty of room - if the 7 billion of us were to stand shoulder to shoulder, we'd all fit into France.

Slightly more worrying is the fact I've only got 33 years left!!!

The graph is more or less as I'd expect it to be, the more people there are the more children will be born. I don't think it meets the exact definition of exponential but it's probably not far off.

The scary thing is when you bring up the 2. Country bit, and you get a map with a totaliser ticking over. Leave it running while you do a few other things, and look back, and see how much it's jumped!
