My Rose...Did I make a mistake?

I've now had my new Rose for a month and generally have no regrets in my choice. But...

...I think it's possessed. It has a split personality. It thinks that because it is called Rose, it's a flower!

In the month since I took delivery, I've been stung by bees! Once when a bee flew into a vent in my helmet, and then last Saturday on my ear. That #@#@#@# hurt! The bee's sting was still stuck in the ear 20 miles later!

It has to be the bike. I've been riding for well over 40 years and have never been stung previously. It's only happened on my Rose.

I had a bee go right inside my ear and it got stuck for about 10 seconds (not from cycling though), luckily it didn't sting, but it was a horrible experience.

Was looking at an X lite myself and have been kindly offered a sit on one from a forum member on the weekend.

Not going to be able to pass on Di2 either. Everybody seems to love it!

I have exactly the same bike and problem!...I've never pulled my helmet off so quick before LOL

I have noticed that the Croix De Fer also collects wasps in its left brake hood!

If it might be the paint job... Bees love to go for hi viz and black I think they think it's a big wasp or something!
