My soon to be rescue cat

Me and Mrs Simba have put in for this cat, for anyone that knows the place its, Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary near Ramsbottom. He is a 4 year old tabby that was found abandoned in the street, he is a little shy but warmed to us pretty quickly and then wanted to play.

We just have the home visit to get out the way and he is ours. We don't live near a main road or railway line so we will get approved I believe.

We got our home visit today, if all is well we can pick him up tomorrow subject to what the vet says, but he looks very healthy.

That is great news. I have just re-homed 5 kittens this morning. I finally have my spare room back

Yea its good news, I can't wait to take him from that rescue home. No animal should have to live like that but, unfortunately some people are just plain and simply evil in nature.

He is in that pen as he doesn't like other cats, the main pens are very big with lots of cats in them. We seen 2 cats fighting yesterday, was proper funny. One was a young cat playing and then an older cat came charging from nowhere as to say stop doing that, there was a Mexican standoff for a good 20 minutes after that.

HAPPY DAYS

Bit OT, (apologies), a friend of mine has just lost his Staffy to cancer at 5 years old! He received excellent help and support from STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER RESUCE in Bolton.

All I'm saying, and I know most of you know already, but most breeds of animals have rescue charities who really struggle to find good homes, (like Simba's) for their animals.

So anyone thinking of a pet please consider re-homing one first
