Hi. If anyone uses an Android phone, I can heartily reccomend the app My Tracks. It logs your route with GPS, and then can upload the data to Google Maps (just the route) and Google Docs (avg speed, max speed, elevation gain, &c.)

I've found it really useful.

Better still have a look at sportstracklive.com. I used both and found that sportstrack live gives you a lot more. You can even play your route back on google maps and see hat pace youe were doing at specific periods etc FANTASTIC BIT OF KIT

There are many apps like this for android phones, just check android market place. There must be at least 10.

Cardio Tracker is one that springs to mind.

One of them interfaces with a bluetooth HRM too!
