Some of you may recall this from last year: http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/my-wife-is-a-nutter.130710/page-4

Well she is at it again once a week for 10 weeks she is commuting by bicycle the best part of 100 miles, 50 miles each way. The difference though, is that last year we lived about 50 mile from where she works, this year we live about 12.5 miles from where she works, so she has to do a long detour just to get to work. Crazy Bonkers Mad!

Why? She's getting match fit for the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100.

We are both riding it and this year we are doing for DEBRA https://www.debra.org.uk/

Nah - that's not nuts - it's quite normal behaviour for a cyclist. What's nuts is she isn't doing it all the time:rolleyes:

I've been taking a longer route in to get extra miles in, but I only go 5 miles! - it is hilly though. I go out lunch times too (15 miles) so getting about 75-120 miles in a week / 25 miles a day.

PS You'd better get the miles in yourself, or you'll get a kicking (again) !

You are not wrong, I'm off to meet her half way later for dinnner.

She has just emailed to tell me that she is going to run home from work today 9.3 miles!

Then run to work tomorrow.
