Mysterious Christmas Card

For the 2nd year running i have received a Christmas card from a local family who i have no knowledge off !

Strange things are we have lived together at our current address for 10 years but its only adressed to me !

Got no idea who they and they ask how i am !

wouldnt mind if there was a gift voucher inside but just a card

anybody else get any strange ones like this

Yes. For around 5 years after I moved into my house, I got a card from an (obviously) elderly lady to the previous occupants.

For probably 20 years we get both a Christmas and Birthday cards and the odd post card to one of our neighbours about 10 houses up from her nephew.

I always correct it, a hand deliver it, you would have thought she might have told him by now

I've lived in my house for twelve years and still get Christmas cards for the previous residents.
The fella who lived here died recently, I recieved 3 bereavement cards addressed to his mrs.

Last year I wrote a card to my in laws and had it posted in London from an imaginary couple. I gave a rundown of the years events including that the apple tree that "Rachel and Joanna used to play in with our children" blew down in the gales!

Free party! Nice! I'd say go with the invite and see if you still get christmas cards next year!

It's only addressed to you, so it may be from someone you sold a bike to or helped with some retro bits or knowledge

no on the envelope is the senders address so with that info i can confirm its not a family i have any connection

So often these mysteries are all but unsolvable, which is frustrating.

You have the sender's address, so do the obvious and let us know.
