I shall be giving 2 bikes away today, and freeing up a bit of much-needed storage space ( ... hmm... what could i use it for).

It's 2 'Halford Specials' MTBs bought years ago for my kids, and not used for a long time... going to the kids a few doors away. Have made the parents aware they might need a check over by lbs (I've made them serviceable, they aren't total junk) and that they are heavy mofos. Have given them the option of returning to me to scrap/recycle if the turn out to be impractical for their kids' needs (bombing round the local park).

I've got an old Raleigh 10 speed which hasn't been ridden for 25 years. I'm thinking of leaving it outside my house unlocked for someone who needs it more than me.

If you want it to disappear even faster put a lock on it. Thieves like a challenge.
