Earlier this evening I put out 2 bikes, one of them an old "dog walking" bike from when we stayed in the country and the other which was younger PTPs, for special collection* tomorrow**. Both just need a wee service and a clean. About 20 minutes after I got a knock on the door from my next door neighbour asking if it was ok if he took them as his son and grand-daughter could make use of them. Crack on...

*Just as well I also had a sofa going out as I had to pay for it

**I bet the buggers come round really early (when I am on holiday) and decide to knock on the door when there are no bikes there as I had to list what was to be uplifted

It's also better than the one that was thrown out, used almost exclusively for the past few months by one of our dogs. He looked a bit less than happy with me last night when he discovered it was no longer there, but cheered up a bit when he realised I had kept the cushions for him to lie on.
