    It shouldn't be Mr Splashy Pants. It should be Mr Splashy Pants Esq. Whales deserve brevity.

    No surprise that "Mister Splashy Pants" is well up front, all the other names are pretty pretentious.

    What's wrong with Dave or Steve?

    I wouldn't want to give a whale a name. How do we know that it doesn't already have a name given to it by its parents?
