If I know the person, and they are of the p*ss taking persuasion, I'll laugh, and let them off. If it's some sad a*sed Walter Mitty, then I pour scorn upon them. That said, it may actually work as an anti theft measure.

Im always up for a laugh and im sure the work mates will take the p#ss out of me.
If you want them and you like them - 
- they are just right for you. 
They do look quite smart too and, as has been said above - a good anti-theft/ recovery aid.
