In other news, Mads P was the winner, 41km in 47 minutes, 52km/h. I knew he could ride a TT, but would have thought he was better at much shorter distances.

The top ten has some very good testers in it, and Albert Withen Philipsen came a very respectable fourth - not bad for an 18 yr old.

That list makes me wonder why Niklas Larsen doesn't have a "Mikkel Bjerg job" in the World Tour?

4th for Philipsen is phenomenal.

1st Cameron Mason - bridged to Bjorn and rode 2-up
2nd Bjorn Koerdt - broke at 20 minutes
3rd Matt Bostock - tried to bridge solo with 4 laps to go

The coverage from British Cycling of the the women’s race is really poor. No idea how far to go, an d poor camera work. Lack of experience I guess.

I think that's bit harsh.

I just watched the women's race (well the last hour or so, on and off)

The lack of distance to go was a bit annoying butI thought the rest of the coverage was ok. I'd imagine it's done on a shoestring budget compared to the big continental races.
