It's a bit more complicated than that...
...that's
North Sea (Belgium)
ATlantic Ocean (France)
MEDiterranean (Spain)
on a tandem. It's about 1150 miles and something like 19 days of riding at 60-odd miles per day.

Some of the regulars here have already found their way to www.ffortissimo.org.uk and thence to:
http://www.justgiving.com/natmed2010-hth
http://www.justgiving.com/natmed2010-uclhc

where they have made donations to Help the Hospices and to UCL Hospitals charity. If anyone else has been entertained, exasperated or baffled by my posts, or would just like to support a fellow CC-er on what promises to be a challenge (and a half), please do likewise.

We'll be reporting regularly on www.ffortissimo.org.uk as we go south.

Bumpity-bump

We're off tomorrow. Panniers are packed. Bike has been given the once-over (or at least part of it). It's now or never.

See you all in a few weeks!

It's a bit more complicated than that...
We made it. It was a little bit exciting towards to the end. The coast road to Spain in gale-force winds is not the best place to ride a tandem! It was very nearly impossible to stand upright at the Spanish border, and certainly impossible to ride...
