my friend put this on my Facebook page, thought I'd share it. I don't find it the least bit surprising... I've always found their sound very soothing anyway. I used to keep a box of them in my bedroom (food for an old pet) and they used to sing me to sleep.

i am used to this sound as they are very good at escaping - actually, i'm a bit hapless when putting them in the cricket keeper - so there's several singing in my place. during the summer i had a real choir of them going, but now there's one or two holding out under the freezer.

one of mine escaped under the freezer... Grew as big as a locust before we caught it lol freaked me out
