Sorry if this is a dumb question , but its all new to me .
I put into my Garmin Edge a 50miles round trip with Komoot app.
I followed route which included 10 minutes in a tunnel . Everything seemed fine until 3/4 of the way through I got a low battery warning around 18%.( after 4 hrs )It was charged before I went but brightness was on full and I was taking a different road so it was always recalculating so possibly caused early drain .I continued and it was still on when I got home . When I went to turn it off it said. "save ride. 23mile " When I uploaded onto pc I had 4 rides for the day ! which added up to 65 miles !!! Strange .
What I am asking is
If following a route and I get low battery , can I stop navigating and will it continue to record my full ride , so when I upload I will get it all ?
How long should I get when navigating with edge 1000 ?
