Who, me ?
Going away to Wiltshire for a few days next month and am plotting up some routes. NCN routes 24, 25 and 254 all pass through the Longleat Estate; does anyone know if cyclists en-route can get through without needing an £18.50 ticket? The FAQ's on their website doesn't say....

I might email them to ask, but they're going to say buy a ticket, aren't they?

Yes, you can just cycle through on the NCN signposted roads. I do so regularly. Note that the entrance/exit on the East Woodlands end of the estate requires you to limbo dance yourself and your bike under a barrier.

And further to the above, Sustrans said:

It is possible to cycle through Longleat without a ticket provided you keep to the National Cycle Network or the Wiltshire Cycleway.
Enjoy your trip and happy cycling.
