American trailers dont have the sidebars to stop you going underneath, either. Scary.

Maybe the same guy! really bad, if it was just us he buzzed then maybe you could make excuses, but he did it to all the riders up ahead too! not good.

Just cycled over the Hoosier pass, 11542ft, not much air up there, but the descent is amazing!

Which way you headed? we are heading that way slowly.

If you can track down the company that owns the truck, a phone call or e-mail to the company often gets better results than going through the police. Most companies keep pretty good track of where their trucks are, so giving location and time of day can help the company track down exactly which of their drivers is causing trouble. There's often a unit number painted on the back of the trailer to let the company keep track of their rolling stock, if you can get that number and the name of the company then the company can figure out which driver is the guilty party pretty quickly. Most of these companies have websites with contact information, so it's pretty easy to get in touch with the company. I've done it once or twice with trucking companies around here with very good results.

Hey there, back in London and just logged on for the first time in ages. Sorry we didn't get to meet up along the route. I think I waved to you as you passed that day, as everyone from our group told me that you had stopped them and asked if they were me. I had some bad news that day, so was not feeling too sociable. Hope you had a good TransAm and your back home reliving it
