I do think the modern idea of tying a series more or less to the doctor's age is silly. He's gone from being 900 as the 6th Doctor to being 906 and all that for the eleventh doctor.

I quite liked it. The new boy seems a good actor. I really liked the new assistant :becool: I thought the monsters were quite good. I still don't like the Tardis's interior decor.

I can't decide. He irked me somewhat. I'm still in love with Sylvester McCoy. Tennant has usurped him in my affections though :becool:

I thought the new Doctor was great. It's a very hard role to step into - especially when a predecessor has 'made it his', and been as popular as DT was - but I thought the new guy really came up trumps. Liked everything else about the show too, as it happens - her, the script, the new tardis with all the quirky bits...ginger beers all round!

I'll fight you for Tennant. And be warned, I fight dirty and I have steel toecapped boots....

You can have McCoy though.

Well, much improved second episode. Stephen Moffat back on top form again. Look out for those bleary-eyed children that haven't been able to sleep since Saturday. Oh, yes, and also those that won't step into an elevator ever again!!
