Neck Wallet

Now the warmer days may be upon us, I'm looking at riding on Sundays and ditching the Lycra and going more casual on my hybrid.

This means loosing the useful rear jersey pockets I need someway to carry iPhone, money and cards and was looking at a neck wallet.

Anyone else do the same and any thoughts on the pacsafe range??

Would you not be better off with a bag mounted under your saddle or on your top tube?

I'd have thought that there'll always be a slight amount of movement on the string of a neck wallet. At worst, you'll get a bit of a red mark but with persistent motion, you risk cutting your own head off.

Never liked the idea of carrying valuables/keys etc on the bike.

Maxpedition do neck wallets, lezyne do an iPhone wallet but it needs a big pocket!

I did use a bum bag but recently purchased some of those tiny top tube panniers. They do the job of carrying essentials like wallet, phone, etc very well.
