Need a bike box pretty quickly- HELP!

Hi to the esteemed members of this forum.

I am away to sunny climes (and climbs) on Sunday and in preparing my bike box, I noticed it is not useable. One of the side locks has broken off and a top lock is not working and beyond repair.

At this late stage, I am reluctant to add to the costs by buying a bike box and so I'm looking to hire one. Does anyone know any firm (it would have to be in the north as I'm running out of time now) who could do one? the internet isn't providing any assistance in this matter.

Failing everything else, I could tape my own box up but this would create all sorts of problems, not least in case I'm asked to open the thing at the airport on the way out or back in again.

Try your local bike shops, a few of my local shops hire out bike boxes.

On yer bike at burnley Paul they usually ask for a quid into the charity box.
