Now thats interesting Dave. You live in Bury and ride with Oldham CTC. Or am I wrong?

No Jim your not wrong. Although the group is called Oldham SSG most of the rides depart from either Heaton Park or the Velodrome which is great for me.

Didn't know that. Tempted to give them a go. I live in Prestwich so Heaton Park is closer than Bury for me.

I ride regularly with Bury CTC on their B runs. A very mixed bunch but you need to be pretty fit to stay with them IMO on their hilly routes. Rides can be anything between 50 to 80 miles and I've often clocked 100 by the time I get home.
