There's no need to worry about that. You will gain very little with a different wheelset.
It's your first road bike, Just buy the bike first, enjoy it and worry about upgrades later. .

Fwiw. I have the Aksium wheelset on a bike and they are still as straight and true as the day I bought them. Roughly two and a half years ago.
Hope this helps a bit.

I think you can do better for £1400 or spend less and get a cracker.

I think a shortlist of one damn good bike is all you need.

Go for it before I send you some alternatives.

I have the 2015 Cube Agree GTC Race and I love it. Although if I hadn't got it on the Cycle Scheme I would have considered the Canyon Endurace CF 7.0 SL as well.

I hope it is as good as everyone says, cos I've just ordered one the 2015 model £1199 (pick it up on Saturday) I had been looking to get something a bit lighter, better spec than I have currently. I was pretty impressed just by the looks and weight, but then they went and discounted it by £200. So not wishing to be rude I snatched hi hand off.
