I had an old triple chain ring Sugino crank on my 80's road ike, but later discovered it didn't have any bearings in it and it's now useless to me. I got another crank, it's unmarked but it's also a steel crank but it's a little warped. Need advice on how to straighten out. Can't afford another crank right now, or for a long long while.

Bit confused by your description. Cranks dont have bearings? The bottom bracket does , but this wouldnt make the cranks useless?

As for the warped crank are you sure its not intentional? Photos will help.

I say it's useless because I needed to change it out anyway, and yes cranks do have bearings inside the cup thing whatever it's called, and the only thing the crank says on the crank arm is T R A C E R.

For some reason, the old Sugino cranks do have bearings inside the cup thing, mine only had one left in it when I took it off. I just need to upgrade it due that it's so messy. The warped crank is cleaner and nicer.

"Nicer" for values that don't include "it's made of steel" and "it's warped". But as others say, are you sure it isn't meant to be that shape? To check whether it really is warped, fit it to the bike and try pedalling. Like Globalti says, if it's warped, you'll feel the pedal "turning" under your foot. Pics of both the Sugino cranks and the "warped" crank will help greatly. (Still puzzled about the missing bearing thing too.)

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
I'm confused too - crank = the long/ish straight/ish bit that has a pedal attached at one end, and is attached to the chainring/s at the other. Both of these attached at right angles to the crankset spindle which runs on bearings in the bottom bracket. The whole assembly is called a crankset. Which bit are you talking about? Photos please?
