I had two of these fail on me for no apparent reason:
I'd paid £30 apiece. I took 'em back to my LBS who said they'd had a number of returns and they ordered me a set of these for £15:
The front is the Lezyne macro Drive and the rear a Micro Drive. You can get a set on line for less than £80 or buy them seperately. The front light is worth splashing out on if you're feeling flush. They recharge via a USB connection and they've been a brilliant commuting option, truly lighting my path through unlit sections with a charge lasting two weeks of 40 minute round commutes plus sundry other short rides until an indicator (on the switch) tells me there's still 50% left. I'll post a better review when I've used them longer but so far so good.

Great recommendations for the Lezyne lights. Ribble cycles were doing some nice discounts lately (around 33% off), to which I succumbed. CRC were doing a 50% discount off some of the Lezyne lights too,

2nd that i have two super drives and they amazing 3hr charge via usb give 1:30 mins on high ( a stated 3500lumens( i charge them at work ready for return)
I have used Cateye front (rechargeable) and rear (battery) lights for 7/8 years now, and have ridden/commuted through winter with no worries on unlit 'A' roads and back lanes. So for up to 4/5 hours on a single charge I can say CatEye have been OK for me. I am only looking to change for SON dynamo hub lights out of pure blingism, and the wish to do some overnight riding/audaxing in the summer.
