Need new rear light

Got a Dawes Karakum - i've put some panniers on but they now hide the rear light on the stem.
What I need now is a rear light with a fixing that will attach to the horizontal bar on the pannier rack (pictured).

Anyone know a suitable light?

I've got one of these on one of the commuters which made it through the winter without failing.

The other commuter has a Smart lunar R1 mounted sideways as you are describing. I just had to pack out the mount a little. This has also made it through the winter without a problem. If ordering from Planet X it's free delivery above 20 quid and I've been impressed with their "phaart" Aeon and Bleep dual lights if you need to bump up the order. Cheap as chips.

Cateye and smart also make pannier mounts which replace the reflector. Enables you to use existing lights. You could also mount seatstay mounted lights to the rack tubes if you pad out the tubes with old inner tube.

I've got a Serfas Thunderbolt rear light.

It fastens on with a couple of heavy duty silicon rings, and can be mounted pretty much anywhere. It's very bright and has a wide viewing angle.
