Need to decide, help me choose

I have a ribble 653 with shimano 105 groupset inc brakes and hubs (rims are mavic SUPs) now this groupset is as old as the bike but in good condition but shifters are on the downtube. I do now have some tiagra STIs too so can upgrade.

I also have another shimano groupset, tiagra sti, ultegra crankset and mechs and brakes and a fulcrum 7 set of wheels.

Should I just fit the tiagra STI's to the 105 setup or swap the lot with the newer components?

If the 105 is 10 speed then you wont be able to use the 9 sp Tiagra shifters with it...

It depends. If the components on the bike function then keep them. The increased performance/ weight loss from the newer components will be marginal. Fit your STI's and ride

what shal i do with the newer components? sell them or keep them just in case?

Keep it, if you can afford to. I flogged all my old stuff and so regret it now. Ultimately though the choice is yours...
