I picked this up from my brother in law a couple of months ago, it was painted and stickered up as a Brian Rourke. After doing some research it turned out to be a 1985 Gios Professional.

I stripped the bike down & sold all of the duraace parts of it as the rebuild was going to be with a modern Campagnolo twist.

How I bought it

Cleaned the forks up

I then replaces the seat (which will change again) & the wheels for Mavic Aksium & 10 speed cassette

It was then stripped down & the frame was taken to Brian Rourke for renovation, here is the finished product & build list:

I still have a bit of fettling to do (need a reducing ferrule for the gear cable) & possibly need to shim the bars as they're still slipping. I also need to cut the rear brake bolt down a tad which I'll do tomorrow. I will get some better photos tomorrow in the daylight.

Hi there, love the bike and that take you have given it, still looking classic with the modern twists! I also love the respray and decals and was wondering where you had it done as my GIOS Super Record is in need of a respray? Cheers Nik
