Enjoy your trip!

Have you cycled through the Hoge Veluwe? That and the dunes between Scheveningen and Zandvoort are my favourites.

The whole Dutch/German language thing is too confusing for my simple brain. The Easy Dutch youtube videos are good to hear the language as it is
We have mostly stuck to the western coast on previous holidays so are familiar with the dunes but inland is a new area for us. We passed through Utrecht briefly on the way back from Germany last summer and are looking forward to spending 2 nights there so we can explore a bit.
Will check out the youtube videos. Dutch sounds very different to how it looks!

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
Dutch sounds very different to how it looks!
Since the last spelling reforms, Dutch in fact sounds almost exactly how it looks, but it is very different to how words looking like that would sound in English or German!

That's the reason to go of course the amazing infrastructure,, plus it's generally clean and tidy, The drawbacks are it can be very windy and urbanized

And what was the luggage decision @arranandy and how did it work out?

And, of course, is the bike OK?

We had 2 x 32l panniers each and I had a small Ortlieb handlebar bag. My partner had a beltbag for her inhaler, tissues etc.

I had the right amount of spare clothes (on and off bike) and toiletries. My partner actually thinks she had too much with her - mind you she had hair straighteners  with her and

Bikes were faultless
