This is old news really. Saw something about flamethrower a being legal in most states ages ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was actually good news - creating laws to cover off these weapons.

given that m16 assault rifles are perfectly ok over there, I can't see why they'd object to a short range thing like this.

Thing about the rigth to bear arms thing - I understand it was for setting up militias which could overtrhow a tyranical government - so presumably heavy artillery, chemical weapons, tanks, hey nukes even should be allowable.

I'm not thinking the above is a remotely good idea, but logically....
