FB and YT are there to make money – that’s all– they might claim to be “socially responsible” and have “community rules” etc, but I think, at the end of the day, unless they feel they are going to be taken to court/shut down (ie loose a lot of money) they don’t care.



Youtube host hundreds of white supremacist channels where the mass extermination of Jews, communists, homosexuals and non- whites is called for in pretty graphic terms – but if they can make money out of such vile content, then they have no incentive to remove it.



For an example, if you’ve a strong stomach, visit the channel below – it belongs to a lovely chap who calls himself TheTrueWhiteMan (and his name is pretty mild compared to some of his friends) – he has some pretty nice views on black people (his profile calls on them to be shot wherever found), isn’t that keen on Mexicans, and spouts the usual fascist rhetoric calling for the extermination of Jews and Israel. (He also hates Magnatom – check the comment he left on Mag’s channel)

Anyway – the good folks at YT are very happy to make money by hosting such stuff…

It's far easier to upload whatever the hell content you want than to report anything. Minor warnings about inappropriate content when uploading, but try to report anything and they make you jump through tons of hoops and even threaten to ban you.

All I can say is I really really hate these living road obstructions, amount of times I've gone round a bend and had to slam on my breaks because of these idiots is a joke. This problem is getting out of hand.

If he had to brake hard, then he was going too fast for the conditions. It is drivers like this that get away with it through blind luck, but quite often end up wrapped around a tree or worse still end up killing somebody.

Going on this particular individuals comments, he shows a lot of contempt towards cyclists. I am pretty sure that with his standard of driving that there are a lot of road users who show an equal amount of contempt towards him.

I’m afraid he’s very much real, almost certainly armed and most likely Amarican. I’d also bet he’s a member of forums such as Stormfront, (just google it) where paranoid white supremacists debate how best to defend themselves from the imminent seizure of southern states by highly armed and dangerous illegal Mexican immigrants or how to rise up against the government (all run by blacks and Jews who want to eradicate the white race), and how to keep you files encrypted on your pc (for when the Fed’s bust you – or to keep that child porn hidden for as long as possible).

I’d also bet he’s just one of ten’s if not hundred’s of thousands of well organised, internet savvy, likeminded Nazi sympathisers on the planet…

There are some absolutely disgusting and nasty people out there and YT and FB are a fertile recruitment ground to hook in the young and impressionable or ignorant and paranoid.

See I don't understand that, to my mind most people that what Top Gear are just normal folk that appreciate the entertainment and take it as just that. The people that watch it and hate cyclists are already that way inclined.

Besides Hammond is a keen cyclist and the show has shown on more than one occasion, what we all know to be true, that cyclists are the fastest transport around town. In a race across central London, Hammond (on his bike) beat the car (James May), boat (Clarkson) and public transport (Stig).

I doubt JC is going to run over a cyclist any day soon - probably a sedate driver on the road after driving around fast cars all day etc.

Frankly these are very sad people who, I suspect, wouldn't dare do anything beyond getting rid of their frustrated hatred through a keyboard and playing the macho role that eludes them in life (now who's stereotyping?). It makes them feel good for a moment. And I would rather have them feeling good for the wrong reasons then doing bad on the road for any reason. And having looked through the postings there is no real evidence that they do it in real life. Whatever that is ...
